A Health Facility Built Out of Love and Charity

In line with the assistance program of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes- Sweepstakes Employees Union (PCSO-SEU) and Mater et Puer Foundation  for the survivors of Typhoon Sendong, the City Government of Cagayan de Oro became the recipient of an integrated health facility.
On March 21, 2012, the construction project at the Calaanan Relocation Site in Barangay Canitoan was set in motion by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between Cagayan de Oro City's Honorable Mayor Vicente Y. Emano and Mater et Puer Foundation Chairperson, Atty. Ma. Louisa Viloria-Yap. It was witnessed by Mr. Mario Pelisco (PCSO Misamis Oriental Branch Manager), Atty. Ravena Joy Rama (PCSO-SEU representative), Atty. Dina Joy C. Tenala (Mater et Puer Foundation Secretary) and Mr. Danny Tagailo (Project Coordinator).

Barangay Canitoan Integrated Health Facility, which shall address the health needs of around 2,000 families in the Calaanan Relocation Site,  was officially turned over to the people of Cagayan de Oro City on June 8, 2012.
